If you aren’t in the mood to tackle defrosting a 19 pound turkey and can’t think of making another dish of stuffing, then maybe dining out for the holiday is a better idea. I’ve put together a list of some of the restaurants that are serving Thanksgiving dinners. Take a look at some of the dishes online and you may just change your mind on hosting the holiday this year! Buffet with fresh seafood station including hand-crafted sushi bar, carving station with turkey, prime rib of beef and bone in ham. An entree station with pan seared salmon with late harvest tomato buerre fondue, chicken filled with arugula, roasted peppers and basil, herbed poultry jus, portabella mushroom ravioli with blue cheese demi and toasted pine nuts and Morgan’s truffle Mac and cheese. A delectable dessert display filled with pies, creme brulee, tartlets, cakes and throw in there some beautiful chocolate dipped strawberries! I am stuffed reading this buffet’s incredible feast! There will even be a children’s station with children favorites. Who could ask for more….a day without cooking, beautiful ice sculptures and white linen table cloths filled to the brim with food and you didn’t have to lift a finger!

The Firehouse is serving their Thanksgiving meal from 12:30pm- 8pm. A gourmet four-course menu that includes shrimp and scallop croquette, roasted sweet potato bisque, roasted turkey breast, Beef Wellington and pumpkin crème brulee. Come on! How delicious does that sound? Not only that but The Firehouse is ALSO offering a vegan/vegetarian and a children’s Thanksgiving menu! Catering to all! Gotta love that! This French and Mediterranean restaurant is serving a Thanksgiving dinner that includes appetizers, soup, salad, a main course: turkey, salmon or prime rib. Along with family-style side dishes: haricot verts, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts and dessert: fruit crisp, pumpkin tart, chocolate cake. I can hardly contain my drooling.
Also La Provence is offering an alternative menu: Too stressed or tired to cook? And don’t want to dine out? La Provence will cook dinner for you; all you have to do is pick it up. Just place your order 24 hours in advance! Check their website for more information.

All dinners include butternut squash soup and mixed baby green salad and a choice of main course of traditional roasted turkey, prime rib, salmon filet, half duckling, and center cut pork chop. Desserts are priced separately. Kid diners can choose from turkey, fish or prime rib. The cost per person is $29.50 and children are at a reduced rate. The Grange has a reputation for delicious farm fresh food and the same will go for their Thanksgiving menu. This year, their service will be from 2pm-7pm and will feature a filling two course meal and a fabulous mouth watering dessert. There are several dishes to choose from each course. Personally, I would choose: the Smoky Pumpkin and black bean bisque with spicy bread croutons and the Dungeness Crab Stuffed Passmore Trout
with Marcona almond puree, haricot vert, wild rice and brown butter Vinaigrette and finish with a sweet potato-pecan pie with cinnamon ice cream…. I’m full just looking at their menu. Check out the link above and see what you will choose this year!
